The Next Band Parents Meeting will be 3rd Tuesday November 18th, at 7:30 in the band room.


It is VERY IMPORTANT that as many Parents as possible Attend ALL Meeting as there is a lot of information we need to pass on to you about all the up coming Events. We know that it is inconvenient to attend these meetings, however without your help and support it Only Hurts the Band and your CHILDREN.

Indoor Guard

Colleen McCauley stated at the May Band Parents Meeting that the Indoor Guard will be splitting off from the Band Parents Assocation due to the fact that she will be needing to do a lot of extra fund raising for next year as the indoor guard wants to join a new competion circuit.

3rd Annual Classic Car Show

Even though the weather did not fully cooperate, Much fun seemed to be had by all that attended. The Band Parents would really like to thank the winner of the 50/50 for donating his winning back to the Assocation. Also a round of applause to the "National Chrysler Products Club of NJ Shore Region" for all their hard work in making these car shows a sucess.

Scrip Account is up and Running
I have obviously not explained the Scrip program correctly, as most of the Parents continue to make purchases using cash, check or debit cards at the merchants included in this program, so I am going again to try to explain this program.

Let assume that you as a family spends $ 75.00 per week at the food store (Shoprite, Pathmark, Stop & Shop, Giant, A&P, or ACME), and $50.00 per week for Gas (WAWA, Shell, BP, Exxon, Mobil, Gulf) and $50 per week at other Stores or Restaurants, that comes to $175.00 per week you are paying for in cash, check or debit card or $700.00 per month directly to merchants.
Now if you purchased Scrips once a month instead of paying cash, check or debit card to merchants you would still have the same amount to spend at merchants without having to worry about carrying cash, writing a check or entering your pin number, however the Band Parents Association would make approximately $25.00 per Parent that ordered scrips times 60 families in the band for a monthly total of approximately $1500.00.

Again the Scrip program costs you nothing, but as you can see could raise a great deal of money for the Band it is also a Great way to budget your monthly spending, and not have to worry if you have enough cash with you every time you go out.
